OK to start the week with some good news. As you know we’ve got a lot going on and we’ve been trying to get a podcast sorted for a while without luck. I promise it’s to through the want of trying, we’ve got a couple of Mac, GarageBand and some USB mics but it’s just proving to big and cumbersome for us to get to grips with especially when on site and of course when at shows and at suppliers this is just a no go.

HOWEVER the good news is that we have just ordered from the states the Samson Zoom H4N which is a portable professional class solid state recorder that will record up to 4 channel pro quality audio. For us the ease of use and the self balancing mics and the fact it takes bucket loads of inputs, file formats and better mics as we progress means we’ll be up and running in time for the “Grand Designs” show next month.

We are looking for a sponsor for this and the cost to you is nothing, not a thing as while this is a test we’ll not want to over promise and under deliver.
